My Story: From Entry-Level Professional to Industry Leader in Business Strategy, Leadership, and Digital Transformation

A Journey of Growth, Innovation, and Leadership
I began my career in 1995 as a Business Coordinator in New Delhi, eager to prove myself but without a clear roadmap. Like many professionals, I started with small tasks, but I saw every project as an opportunity to learn, grow, and develop skills that would later shape my leadership journey.
I worked with teams that taught me business operations, negotiation, and strategic thinking. While others focused on day-to-day tasks, I constantly asked: How can this be done better? That curiosity led me to my first major career shift.

The Transition into Technology & Innovation
By 1998, I saw the rise of the digital revolution and knew I had to adapt. I moved into web programming, learning software development, automation, and digital business models. The transition was challenging—I had no formal tech background—but I committed myself to self-learning, mastering programming languages, and building real-world applications.

By 2000, I had developed a payment gateway system—a precursor to PayPal—showing me the power of technology in solving real business problems. Over the next few years, I grew from a web software engineer to a team leader and eventually an e-commerce project manager in the UK.

This period was crucial. I wasn’t just gaining skills; I was learning how to scale businesses, lead teams, and innovate in competitive markets.

Taking the Leap: Entrepreneurship & Business Growth
In 2003, I launched Orbit Information Technologies Pvt Ltd. Starting my own company was a defining moment, where I learned that success isn’t just about skills, but about vision, adaptability, and resilience.

Building a business from scratch meant understanding finance, marketing, leadership, and operations. I faced challenges, setbacks, and industry shifts, but each obstacle strengthened my ability to strategize, problem-solve, and lead under pressure.

I then expanded into education consulting by founding Gobliss Asia Education Consulting, which now connects students with 2,800+ institutions across 32 countries. This journey wasn’t just about building a profitable business—it was about transforming lives and careers.

Empowering Others Through Leadership & Strategy
While running multiple businesses, I realized that true success lies in helping others grow. I started training executives, entrepreneurs, and organizations, teaching them the leadership, business strategy, and digital transformation skills they needed to thrive.

I had the privilege of:
– Teaching at British, Australian, and Indian universities, shaping future leaders.
– Serving as a Consultant MSc Programme Director at Keele University, UK, mentoring postgraduates.
– Providing corporate leadership programs, business strategy consulting, and innovation workshops to organizations across North America, Europe, Japan, South Asia, and the GCC.

Through these experiences, I refined my ability to help businesses scale, optimize operations, and build leadership teams that drive success.
